What a Wonderful World

My aunt and uncle are here visiting from Turkey this weekend, actually, they are leaving this morning . I wish they could be here longer, I have so many things I would like to show them. But, I did get to talk to them about visiting them in Turkey. I have already applied for my passport! I know the visit won't be for another year. As it is, I am out of kitty litter, out of kitty food, need gas for my car and I'm stressing about how I'm supposed to come up with money so that on October 21st, I can fly out to NY for one of my dearest friend's wedding. Joy!

I am at mom's house using her new laptop. This thing ROCKS!! I want one, and to think that she got it for free! Last week she went to Washington DC for a conference and won it in a drawing.... Wish I had that kind of luck!

I know I'm just blabbing on and on really about nothing, but I wanted to let you all know how things are going for me, especially since I haven't been able to call you all like I would want. My cell phone is still working and all, but I'm trying to save on the minutes. The best thing to do is text me. I have unlimited with that! If you don't have that number, it is 602-821-2586. If it is really necessary for you to call me, please make sure you do it after 9 (ARIZONA TIME) on weekdays and really anytime on the weekend.

As far as things on the relationship aspect, finally, things are looking really well! I don't want to jinx anything so I won't. LOL Dave will be starting his new job on Monday, Well his second new job.. He got an offer with a contract position, so he worked that for two weeks and then was offered a better more stable position with another company and he took that. I think he's in shock with all the options they have out here on the job market.

As far as things with me and my job, well..... Lets just keep our fingers crossed that things get better! Thank goodness I have dear souls in my life that are trying to help me out with catching up on my bills. This whole being grown up and living in the real world gets old real quick!

I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!!!!! As many of you know, I have wanted a Beetle since I was in High School, then of course, I had the whole family thing going on, so I couldn't get one after I got married, but HA HA, now (thank you Gerald), I am able to have it and I'm LOVING IT!!!

So there you go, not much.... Hope all is groovy with you all.

Just when you think you have everything figured out and you think you know exactly what you want in life, you get thrown a curve ball that throws you for such a loop. A lot has happened that has made me do a lot of questioning about what it was that I truly wanted in my life. I had to let some things go and grasp on to what I now think is one of the best things to happen to me in a really long time.
I wasn't expecting it at all! I actually thought that what I had back when I was in Jr. High was just puppy love, but now it has grown to sooooo much more and to think that after 18 years and both of us in serious relationships and major heart breaks that we would meet up again and feel so comfortable with each other that it just feels right to be together just is totally amazing to me!!
Right now, I can honestly say... I am happy.. And I thank him with all my heart!
