Thread count???

The whole reason for going out yesterday was to get a new set of sheets. I have always used whatever came with the bedding set I had or some old hand-me-downs, so I never understood the absolute wonderfulness of 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets until last night.

Amadeus has to be right in the middle of everything and help me smooth out the wrinkles when I'm making the bed, well this time he just laid there and watched me finish up. Yes, higher thread count does mean lighter wallet when you're done purchasing them, but the difference is so worth it and I'm very glad Kohls had a huge sale going on this weekend!! haha
If you have never experienced the bliss of nice sheets...Try it...You'll sleep better!!! :)

A bit of a change...

I'm thinking of changing the format of my blog just a bit. From this moment on, I'm going to post things that I find to be AWESOME! Just a way for me to share with the few folks that actually read this, my recommendations on the "little things" in life.

Today I am going to tell you about the BEST candle I have found on the market! I am a candle freak, and I've tried everything from Partylite® to Yankee Candle® and I will have to say that Nature's Wick® has got them beat hands down!!!

Not only are the scents AMAZING, but the wick is wooden so it crackles... It's like having a little fireplace in a jar. Dave and I bought Bonfire Nights a few weeks ago and were so impressed that we went and got Apple Tree today. In just five minutes, this candle has my entire living room, dining room and kitchen smelling like I have had 5 candles burning all day.

I haven't seen them anywhere but at Target and the scents are limited, but I haven't yet found one I didn't like. From this day on, it will be the ONLY candle I buy! You should go out and get one too!!! :)
