Sick

There has been a reason as to why I have not posted a blog lately.. I am sick, not just I have a cold sick, but I went to the Emergency Room, put on an IV, and got a shot in the butt, sick!!!
I have yet to find someone that can actually put a needle in my arm without having to do it multiple times or bruising me, I guess that goes with the territory when you don't have good veins for it.


Ok, so I have an upper respiratory tract infection AND gastroenteritis... What a doosie eh? The Doctor put me on a strict diet of no solid foods for 24 hours, then for the next 24 hours I'm to continue with the liquids, but I can include bananas (thanks to Gwen Stefani, I know how to spell that) and toast with NO butter, and crackers... To say the least, I'M STARVING!!!!! He also gave me an antibiotic and some other meds to calm my stomach.


So, there... That has been my eventful (when my mom is gone in Philly with her siblings) weekend. Thankfully, Dave stepped right in and has been awesome with taking care of me.. There have been tense moments, as you all know how mean I can get when I don't feel good, but he put me in my place! LOL

Going to lay back down and try not to think about food... I'M HUNGRY!!!!
